Painting Classes and Short Courses

We are welcome parents to join our Facebook -Clement Art School. All teaching trends and weekly course content will be frequently updated so that parents can know well their children’s movement in Clement Art. The ages listed are a guide, if you have 2 kids in different age groups & you want them to do a class together, we can accommodate that. As a Registered Training Organisation we give our senior transition students the option to work through the material in our pre-diploma courses. This provides the pre-requisite unit to enter into a Diploma of Visual Arts which is a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Students are then encouraged to develop their skills through returning sessions until they understand the process. Founded over50 years agoand offering many different art classes –from beginner to advanced, oils, acrylics, watercolour, drawing, workshops and kids art classes, there is an art class to suit everyone. Our art school is located at Onespace, 63 Bassett Street Mona Vale, a sanctuary for adults, teens and children seeking creative respite from a very busy world. My kid has been attending this drawing and arts class for a few terms. The instructor is a great artist, well experienced, soft and patient with the kids.

Our customers will experience a wide range of art forms appropriate for their age groups including painting, drawing, sketching, craft, collage and multi media art. We also embed a wide range of knowledges into our programs, which includes nature science, math and geometry, geography and technology. Program structure Program Time Art classes in Arterest is based on term classes... Kil-n-it offers a variety of pottery classes including beginners courses, kids’ projects, private events, workshops and community classes to those with an explorative attitude to ceramics. Their classroom can accommodate up to 10 students at a time and can be privately booked for special events, birthday parties and corporate days with a difference. They also run Kids Club classes in the school holidays which are a huge hit with children and parents alike.
Art and craft classes offer kids the opportunity to get messy, try new things and learn how to harness their creative expression, making them an ideal choice for after-school or school-holiday activities. Our programs and art classes give students confidence by allowing them to experiment with a wide range of media. We teach art terminology and help students recognise their own strengths and weaknesses as artists. Programs and art lessons also change from term to term, meaning students stay interested, and challenged. The beginners' pottery class package consists of three two-hour classes, where you learn to throw, trim and glaze basic cylindrical pieces of pottery. The three pottery classes are spread over the span of three weeks to allow time for your pottery to dry and get fired.

Classes will include drawing and painting, and will have a variety of subjects to study. A class for students currently producing works of a high observational standard who want to develop their skills further. Experience the immediacy of painting outdoors or “en plein air” as you learn to capture the landscape and its ever-changing light from life. In this art course you will work through painting projects inspired by the artworks of the old master painters. Clothing protects against many things that might injure or irritate the naked human body, including rain, snow, wind, and other weather, as well as from the sun. Garments that are too sheer, thin, small, or tight offer less protection. Appropriate clothes can also reduce risk during activities such as work or sport.
Maker’s Loft in Cammeray is a local creative hub that aims to inspire designers, artists and tinkerers of all ages, and enhance overall wellbeing through making and creating. They offer a diverse range of hands-on classes and school holiday programs for kids, from ceramic painting, macrame and slime workshops to High Tea packages, after school craft clubs and craft-themed parties. The St George Creative Art and Craft Centre was established in 1978 to provide a venue for local artists.

Our art classes are a great way to celebrate & feed their creative side. Our kids art classes are limited to 10 children, which is great for social interaction and guarantees plenty of time for everyone to get lots of attention.
